No payment is due yet. Once availability can be confirmed, we will confirm the next steps.
The Ronda Three Cellar Tour includes all tasting fees at all three cellars, as well as a seasonal “Country Paella” style dish at one of the vineyards.
There are a handful of mills, both historic and modern that offer an insight into the luscious world of liquid gold. Learn all about the different varieties of olives, characteristics, culinary uses, and health benefits of olive oil, and naturally, buy some of the best local oil around.
Should you be interested, and if it is available in a certain wine region, we can include a local Craft Beer Tour and Tasting at a brewery into your itinerary as well. While wine still reigns supreme, seeking out cerveza artesana (artisanal beer) is a great way to explore new regional flavours.
Tour guides normally are recruited from within the local community, so have a good knowledge of the area’s history, culture and traditions. They are able to provide up-to-date factual information and answer any questions that you have about the site/attraction.
Tour guides are available per hour, or per day.
For vegetarian and/or other special dietary requirements eg gluten-free, please notify us in advance to arrange alternative choices.
→ VINEYARD LUNCH For vegetarian and/or other special dietary requirements eg gluten-free, please notify us in advance to arrange alternative choices.
Once we can confirm your booking request, usually in a few hours, or at latest by the end of the day, we would require a 20% booking fee to reserve your tour. Since we limit groups to only 8 guests per day*, we have to offer tours on a fist come, first serve basis (especially during high season).
If you are booking for a larger group, we will make separate arrangements, but these groups also require a deposit to secure appropriate transport.
Making your booking with Tannin Trail means you pay standard cellar wine tasting rates, and we make all the reservations for you, leaving you more time to enjoy your holiday.
For all DIY Self-Guided bookings, payment via a 15% booking fee to reserve your appointment is only required once we can confirm your booking request, this also serves as confirmation to the venues. You can then choose to pay the remaining cellar tasting fees directly to the cellar on the day of arrival (at the same rate usually charged by the cellar).
With our DIY Trails we will provide a downloadable itinerary that includes all relevant information, as well as GPS directions. It couldn’t be easier than that!
Chauffeur services, and lunches at vineyards usually require a deposit, or prepayment in full to confirm your reservation before arrival.
Note: Should you prefer to “pre-pay” all your fees for your complete Tannin Trail itinerary, we will have to add an additional 21% Spanish VAT/IVA to all services (this is because we are a registered as a service company).
We really want to promote the great wine across Spain, and are making all of our favourite places available as self-guided “Trails”. Most vineyards are usually sign-posted, and are more than welcoming towards offering tastings of their wines, provided you make advance reservations.
