The scenic road to Ronda hints at something about the wines that are about to tasted on our Ronda wine tour. These are mostly red wines with attitude, as all the vineyards are is situated at an elevation higher than 750m above sea level, that proves elevation matters.

Despite Ronda's relative infancy as an enotourism destination, it has historical viniculture roots that date back thousands of years to the aptly-named ruined ancient Roman city of Acinipo, meaning the 'city of wine' - one of the few cities in the Roman Empire that made wine of such good quality that it was exported back to Rome!

Most of the wineries on the Ronda Wine Tour are situated in the scenic "Serrania de Ronda" countryside, however one should not miss the historic centre of Ronda old town, with it's wonderful Arab and Moorish architecture and, of course, the famous Tajo Gorge and bridge. Our Ronda Wine Tour includes free-time to explore the beautiful sights around the old town (although if you are already familiar with Ronda, then the three-cellar tour with lunch would be more suitable).

Great Scenery

Ronda is only a 55 minute drive inland from the Marbella Area but it feels like another region. The journey to get to Ronda is via a mountain drive, and once you reach the vineyards you can take a breath observing the beautiful, peaceful landscape around.

VIneyard Tapas Lunch

Our Vineyard Tapas Lunch is an exclusive wine tasting and tapas pairing which is not available on any other tour to the region, or even with regular visits to the cellars.
