WINE REGIONS IN SPAIN
Considering that Spain has 76 official “D.O” wine regions, and many more regional wine “VdlT” regions (known as Vinos de la Tierra), it may be rather surprising to learn that there are currently only 10 official “Wine Routes” located throughout Spain!
Spanish D.O wine regions all have strict rules regarding the winemaking process, including the aging of wine, but that does not mean that you can’t find great wine in the “Vinos de la Tierra” regions (Wines of the Land). In fact, some of these “VdlT” regions could be the “next great wine region in Spain”.
We know Spanish wine, and specialise in wine tours to boutique cellars in emerging regions such as Ronda Wine Region.
Our Ronda Wine Tours are small group tours, visiting up to three boutique wine cellars across the picturesque Serrania de Ronda countryside, and includes optional sightseeing in the historic town center, or a vineyard lunch at one of the cellars.
Private Wine Tours.
We can arrange Bespoke Wine Tours across all wine regions in Spain from the major cities such as Barcelona and Madrid with an optional vehicle and chauffeur.
Our Private Tours can also include additional activities, such as sightseeing, culinary tours, cooking classes or vineyard lunches and accommodation, and can also be booked for one or even over multiple days. We also include a local guide if you prefer.
